Compared to the drug soaked WCE side that 'won' its last GF this is just child's play. We haven't seen Essendon players hanging around with suspicious characters in places well known for various misdeeds and wild antics, in OZ and overseas.
This is a picnic in comparision to those events and EVERYONE knows that WCE won its last flag under false pretences. Don't try and pretend otherwise by diverting your attention to the Bombers for taking substances that MIGHT not be allowable under the international code, but even then not considered to be illegal. A very different to the clean scenario you are keen to promote in relation to the WCE.
Whatever comes out this week it will be nothing to that disgraceful period in AFL history. From all accounts, in the today's daily newspapers, the outcome will be a dismal fizz, which will prove, beyond doubt, that this has been nothing more than a disgraceful and cynical witchhunt. Why would a Government, with an ounce of integrity, aided and abetted by the AFL's top honcho, broadcast allegations without a skerig of proof? It's a farce! It's a pity it didn't undertake due diligence on the frantic antics that emanated from the West, on almost a weekly basis..
