I don't really care what the energy mix is, coal, green,nuclear whatever. if someone can make a buck out of it they will do it. If we can do it without polluting the air we breathe all the better.

so what if they need panels to cover the size of Sydney cbd. cbd isn't that big and space isn't exactly an issue in Australia. no-one is proposing to power Sydney with solar arrays so what is the point

choosing Bayswater as the basis of the debate certainly helps, its the second biggest coal fired power station in the country. Average is around 1000MW

this is just another example of a spin article that both sides are guilty of. These guys know there are plenty of suckers out there who will swallow the spin and run with it.
