I would also like to Clarify this. "Hemp" and "Marijuana" while essentially from the same strain of plant (Cannabis Sativa L) are completely seperate.
Comparing hemp with potent strains of marijuana is like comparing a nonalcoholic beer with a bottle of vodka.
There is far too much ignorance towards the industrial benefits of hemp, it's sad that the outdated laws have suppressed such a versatile and useful plant.
As for Marijuana, I honestly believe it's quite harmless compared to alcohol and tobacco and if people choose to smoke it they shouldn't be locked up prison for it.
Many of my professional friends from doctors to lawyers smoke Marijuana, some smoke occasionally, some smoke regularly yet none of their lives have been ruined by Marijuana. Alcohol on the other hand has ruined many friends lives over the years.
Either way, in my humble opinion Marijuana should at least be decriminalised.
