"Sandfire Resources was yesterday engulfed by renewed
speculation about a $133 million sale of Korean steelmaker
Posco's stake.
Posco was reported to be talking to potential buyers over
a sale of it's 15.2 per cent holding.
OZ Minerals, with 19 per cent of Sandfire, has been rumoured
in the past as a potential bidder for Sandfire, which
officially opened its De-Grussa mine on the weekend.
Sandfire fell 0.31 cents to $5.22 amid suggestions the
stock was being shorted by hedge funds."
