yes molly, for a long term holder that's certainly the way to look at it (not getting to concerned about the odd half year anomaly).

there is a growth in earnings factor also to add, which seems to be ongoing in Malaysia - as probably one of Asia's most wealthy economies. it would be good to EG's observations on that.

on the PE's I usually look at averaging the previous yearly averages - commsec give prev. 10 years but in this case there is no info. but an expected pe can vary depending on int. rates etc.

on calcs - correct / correct - not going to get a job as a bank clerk am I ?
