I'm surprised Murdoch has declared his support for the Libs so openly. It means everyone who reads his paper knows that you can take what's said with a grain of salt because it's just a reflection of the proprietor's bias. It's likely to cost the Libs some votes from undecided people who resent a media baron trying to hijack democracy. I would have thought if he wanted to help the Libs he'd support them quietly so his papers retain the veneer of neutrality.
