I have been listening to talk back radio pretty well all day and I have not heard a single caller support Beattie...the public are all disgusted with both Rudd and Labor.
I think the Labor Party, the faceless men and Mr Beattie are going to have a wake up call come September 7th. Another mistake by Labor and the faceless men...they have done the Coalition a favor by putting Beattie in, the Coalition encumbent will romp it in now. The only votes Labor will get are the rusted ons that will never change, but the anger coming out is quite incredible.
The dirt on Beattie will not be hard to find either being he was allegedly forced to leave State Politics and disappear for a while...now he thinks he can just waltz back in as if he is the long lost Messiah. And of course the articles above which will enlighten those that did not know about why Beattie left politics suddenly.
The next few weeks are going to be very interesting.
