Hi Funkymonk63 - can I offer a alternative view?

Either the downtrend has been broken or it hasn’t.

But maybe trends are not yes or no type things.

I think here the downtrend has been suspended,

Apologies for the poor quality. But the chart show Gann 1:1 angles. Squared for price and time. The sp moved off the 1:1 downward angle and moved onto a 1:1 upward angle.

Volume rate of change does not support seeing this trend change as reversal. But its more than a simple retracement.

Why has the downtrend been “suspended”. Very difficult for a spec to raise funds in a downtrend.

Best to right the ship to an even keel and there is no better angle for distribution than a 1:1 where the angle is moving at a uniform rate of speed. This is the advantage of a Gann angle over a trendline (imo).
