Marriage is between one man and one woman, to the exclusion of all others.
That is what is has always been, and always will be.
You cannot just change the meaning of a word because you want to change how it operates.
If the government wants to make it legal for 2 adult people who are homosexual to be in a de-facto relationship and have this recognised under law then so be it.
You can call that relationship whatever you like, but it won't be marriage.
