Gas companies have been forced by public opinion to reveal their methods which they never would have volunteered themselves. That can only be a good thing. Your post sounds like you think people who are not e.g. hydrogeologists have no right to any opinion.

all the above quotations support what I've posted so far on the subject of gas extraction in the UK. When people really understand it they are less likely to support it IMO.

as I've said before, gas extraction might go ahead on a small scale but there is unlikely ever to be wholesale exploitation of gas shales in England's green and pleasant lands.

and to those who purposely set out to insult me by calling me a troll and so forth (water off a duck's back in any event) the louder you protest my posts the more you have to hide. You need to be realistic about DTE's chances, they are only moderate IMO and time will tell who's nearer the mark on the gas issue in the UK.
