Buying silver shares is not the same as buying silver. Core position should be bullion and shares should be considered only if
1. You have experience trading resource shares
2. You want to allocate a percentage of your pm money to leveraged gains, but remember silver gains are already leveraged to the gold price movement, so in effect silver shares are double leveraged, fine on the upside but hell on the downside
