Less than one week for us the Australian voters to digest and scrutinize the coalitions costings.

Based on the coalition's previous attempt at deceiving Australian voters about the coalition's costings, it is of a major concern the coalition appear to be attempting to be less than open about their costings.

You cannot reduce government receipts and increase spending to the levels claimed and still maintain anything that closely resembles a reasonable budget.

Both Labor and the Coalition are slaves to Treasury's updated forecasts, including the recent $12billion downgrade on receipts. So any error on spending will be magnified by any Treasury updates in forecasted government receipts.

We as the Australian voter should be given the due respect and time to assess the costings well prior to the election so we can make an informed decision based on the full story.

"Trust me, I'm a politician", does not work for me.

They ask for our vote, and it is not unreasonable to want to know what we are voting for.

Yes, it applies to both partys. But in the context of this thread, it relates to the coalition waiting to the last minute to release costings and depriving us of the right and time to scrutinize their costings.
