Yes you are right,
It seems men need their alone time...more so than women.
We don't really know what has happened to this poor guy or how long he has been homeless.
But if someone like golden6 has done all that (he,she) can....by leaving food and another blanket is at the moment is fantastic.

Very sad as so many men loose their jobs....or their partner leaves with kids....divorce.
The shock can be very cruel.
