The focus is not on hell in the Christian world view.
The discussion between Bowrals belief and my own is in context of the christian world view. It does not prevent fellowship amongst those with opposing views. The discussion is somewhat arbitrary as God is the judge not bowral or any Christian, which is a really good thing for us sinners.
Evil will be defeated via the judgement day that is consistent with my world view via the christian context. I believe God will send no one to hell but it will be man who sends himself, like the thief to jail.
Adolf Hitler and Saint Luke would end up in the same place without the ultimate defeat of evil, otherwise justice never wins, evil will ultimately triumph.
But that is the hope of many that evil can exist, triumph over the sovereign God. The luciferian dream in all its manifestations from Gnosticism to Isalm to new age spiritualism and onwards just different flavors of the same deceit.
