Be interesting to see where Germany goes with its power policy. About to find out that renewables alone are not the answer I suspect. Takes a lot of power to run an industrial manufacturing economy. For a nation that is about to rival the US as the second biggest exporter globally I'd expect the cost of power to be a decent factor impacting its productivity and competitiveness over the longer term.
