Grangeh - I have the flu and my wife dragged me out of bed with orders to respond to your comments. The best I can do is to repeat a long winded post (with apologies) I made a while ago for zz's interest. For the record the pictures you refer to were taken by me; the 4000 km round trip from my home was for my interest and was paid for by me, the helicopter fee was paid for by me, I did not receive any payment from the company. The following old post explains my association with the company.

""Lots of bickering on here as Process hinted. Admission - I have had many on Ignore for years - and got to tell you why. BTW read a heap of your posts before deciding this path.
Believe it or not there are a few people who don't know zipp about share trading - me included. I was nearly retiring age before I bought any shares - and they were CDU. One thing in my favour perhaps was that I was a reasonable hand at photography - I was working in outback Qld at the time and spent some time at Rocklands . From 2007, then '08, '09, and '10 and '11.
I saw what came out of the ground, and kept coming. Slowly learnt how to buy shares using an online 'broker' - and found Hot Copper. All of my savings of 45 years went on CDU shares. Slowly learnt ( I AM a slow learner) that trading and the share market was not what it seemed - for example I found this item on ASX rules:
Market manipulation describes a deliberate attempt to interfere with the free and fair operation of the market and create artificial, false or misleading appearances with respect to the price of, or market for, a stock. This is typically done either by spreading false or misleading information in order to influence others to trade in a particular way, or by using buying and selling orders deliberately to affect prices or turnover, in order to create an opportunity for profit.
Then I learnt how to look at the days trades - and I found hundreds of single figure trades. Could not understand why you would buy or sell one or two shares. I think I do now.
I don't have the charting skills of AKA and Redbacka and others, nor the market savvy of Giddyup and Raks etc. I don't understand anything other than buying a share in a company / firm, whatever - for the purpose as originally intended; ie employment, productivity, something of direct or indirect benifit to society, and a fair dividend. It appears to my limited comprehension post GFC, it would take a brave man to wade in, where fools fear to tread, especially without a degree in … gambling? punting? bluffing? I know, all the same thing. Guess that makes me the fool.
I was in far SW Qld when the JORC was announced - I met a CDU holder (and HC poster) who was devastated - his first words to me were "You don't look to concerned".
Nor was I. While not a geo, after a few years one learns the difference between all the copper things that come out of the ground, and unless I was prepared to ignore the evidence of my own eyes I considered the JORC in error - why or how I let others decide. While the share price collapsed it didn't worry me as I figured there had to be an error - it didn't dawn on me that perhaps other forces were in play which would influence the share price. A fool and his money are soon parted; this is a sad cliché when applied to share trading imho, because an honest man should not have to question the truth or otherwise of information in the public arena. Even more insidious imho is disinformation, skillfully imparted, which without having had the advantage of seeing the evidence as I have done, may have influenced me in parting with my shares.
Over 5 years each visit to Rocklands presented more drilling, more in ground copper, more trucks and diggers, more site preparation, more road works, and so on and so on.
All on here are familiar with the Company road humps, with red tape and i dotting and t crossing, EIS DBS DBC DFS etc etc. One could be forgiven for thinking that as this was the first mining lease issued in qld for 13/14? years perhaps others threw in the towel. Conjecture, forgive me. A Degree in Hindsight is a wonderful weapon to use when the object of the exercise is to belittle and undermine anything - company or individual. I don't have degrees in hindsight or foresight, but I do in sight. So I'm told.
If your aim zzedzz, is to question the future of the mine because of what is in the ground, and the way management is planning to go mining, I submit your argument is lacking in substance; you can use hindsight and other mine examples all you like. As for the share price, crystal ball gazing is not one of my activities and if other forces in the world economy cause stockmarket jitters it will affect most stocks - not just CDU.
Far be it from me to point the finger at anyone who would like to make a quick quid at the expense of someone who has made an effort to secure some comfort in their retirement years, but imho reading some posts on HC one could be forgiven in believing they exist.
The easiest way to win or confuse a 'debate' is to ask questions - very easy to ask unanswerable questions and make the receiver look a fool. So no questions as to your agenda - if you are attempting to 'shake the tree' - a phrase others use - so be it. If you really think the mine is a dud, allow me to offer a tour. I'll be there in 5/6 months so plenty of time to arrange things. I am always amazed at advances after a few months away.
If you have never been there, you will be staggered.
One more thing - and I've posted this before. I was at the AGM 2011 with a name tag - my name, my HC nic, the cdu logo.
Nothing to hide, no hidden agenda, no axe to grind.
I post this for other fools like me on here.""

The tour is no longer on offer. Find your own way.

Now I'm back to the sick bed.
