Basically, this is what they've found so far imo.

Report for 14 Aug reads..
...drilled the G-6H 8½” hole section to 3,466 metres through the Galoc reservoir interval, intersecting both sandstone and claystone intervals consistent with conditions experienced in previous development drilling at the Galoc field. This has included a significant interval of high quality, oil bearing reservoir sands.

The well intersected a 260m section of very high quality reservoir which was at the high end of prognosed outcomes. The well subsequently drilled through poorer sections of formation and the decision was made to TD the well early...

My interpretation here is that the G6 production section to 3,466 mts was pretty much the same as that experienced in the phase I drilling, except there was a 260 mt very high quality section in that.

So from there they drilled ahead to 3,958 mts (another 492 mts past report for 14 Aug) before TDing. They had intended to drill to around 4,500 mts which would give them around 2,000 mts of horiz prod sect.

In G6 they now have around 1,500 mts horiz sect, so at worst scenario, if we call the last 492 mts as poor quality, we are left with around 1,000 mts the same as phase I, except with a 260 mtr very high quality sect included.

The G3 horiz sect was 1,333 mts, so it might be fair to compare G6 with G3 production wise...here's hoping. G3 flowed at around 5,400 bopd on clean up.

In phase I drilling, G4 was drilled in the best quality and thickest part of the reservoir, G3 location was revised after the pilot hole data was analysed.

G5 basically sits between G3 and G4, while G6 is on the outside of G4.

Let's hope the G5 section when drilled makes the full 2,000 mts, and pulls in more of the characteristics of G4 which flowed at around 6,400 bopd on clean up.
