RE: And in the case of events that happened 2000 years ago, what type of 'hard evidence' were you thinking about?
I was thinking in terms of lots of references to JC in Jewish records of the times. The Jewish people made good records of events 2000 years ago, but there is no firm evidence of a miracle performing (impossible anyway) JC.
