Clearly the Biocryst people are Phase I Vapour Shape Shifters.
The company has no wins on the board in the US - its attempts at getting various candidates over the line have failed on multiple occasions (indicators of a poor track record) and yet an early Phase I pass, some strategic PR and vooom - off on the sniff of some premature hype.
I think a couple of players have crafted this perfectly - jumping in at circa $1 levels and playing the media and the market momentum beautifully - been watching on twitter and it is all there to see.
Meanwhile, Google Flu trends are showing Victoria is on High Flu levels, with WA and NSW at Moderate (I know a bunch of people in NSW who have been struck down by something recently).
