    I know a little about mining iron ore but I must admit my knowledge about the actual mechanics is limited.
    I would assume you could mine it with a digger and if its a little harder then drill and blast.
    I think the actual mining cost is around $12.00 a ton for a digger at the MGX mine but dont know what it is for blasting and then digging. Lets say it cost twice as much that would add around $12.00 a tonne
    A lot would of course depend on the strip ratio of the CID.
    The biggest cost could well be the fixed costs due to a billion dollar rail line
    Also if it is magnetite as we are lead to believe then the benification costs will be considerably more than for hematitie.
