When my Dad passed our mum's name wasn't on the title deed. The house went to her. Then when she died the lawyers changed the title to her name and to our names in one fell swoop.
Was mum technically a boarder or a squatter?
Isn't possession 9/10ths of the law? Or did all that go out the window with the advent of litigation as number one over common sense?
Maybe the lady could be offered another property if the area she's in has a high demand.
