    Hmmm ... we need the Swiss (direct action) system .. if the people don't like any decision of the politicians they can initiate a petition of like 20,000 and the Govt must take the issue to a referendum. The Govt must then act according to the will of the people.

    Noteworthy that those countries who have what is called 'direct action' are richer and have smaller governments with savings averaging about 19% = lower taxes. (e.g. Switzerland).

    Our democracy is just about stuffed .. both side fighting over 5% of the CENTRE vote and controlled by powerbrokers and the elites.

    And Aussies had better get used to the 'third-world-isation' or our country because it is happening as we speak.
