"small world - I was in the mosh pit!"

yea, think I remember,I'm sure u were one of those we had to escort out......lol!

Always a lot of fun.I didn't do many as I was just helping a mate who was subbying for ACS at the time.I remember my first gig was one of those famous(or infamous) RAT Parties. The gates didn't open til 9pm and out the front were thousands of partygoers going nuts....the Police were going to shut it down....and I thought to myself, whoa!,what am I in for?

Anyway, once they got in, they were all ok and ready to have a good time.....too gooda time sometimes. It was a constant job checking under the seating stands and moving them on.

One job I had to do, was guard the dressing room, as you would not believe how many would try to use it....and not for dressing either.

All good fun and I got paid as a bonus.

I remember doing Grace Jones(strange character there) one night. She was not due on till midnight, however,as someone had borrowed her coat from the office, she was adament she was not going to perform until she got it back.Three hours later at 3am she made the stage.......after a few tense hours with the crowd...but all ended well. The admission charges generally worked to keep the rif-raf out plus we had our 'heavies' to deal with any problems.

Others I did were Kate Cebereno at the Opera House Forecourt and I can't quite remember, but I think it was the Mentals at the Horden...again with the mosh-pit.

Kind of strange working while everyone else was partying, but I enjoyed the few I did.
