Still not bad for Abbott as debating has not one of his strong points. I think he did extremely well.
Rudd was hoping to absolutely walk all over Abbott when he first jumped back into the PM's chair and was needling Abbott for debates.
All in all - Abbott did well. I do think Abbott will do better at governing than Rudd. Thankfully debating skills are only needed every three years for an election - and the rest of the time is for governing.
