    Re your post which included;
    "... All in all - Abbott did well. I do think Abbott will do better at governing than Rudd. Thankfully debating skills are only needed every three years for an election ..."

    Boy are you in for a rude awakening if Tony Abbott becomes PM.

    Instead of getting to ask the questions and suspending standing orders to provide 15 minutes of grandstanding time, Abbott will have to answer them in Parliament. That means he'll have to be across details such as the ignorance he displayed over BHP and Olympic Dam.

    Abbott will also be expected to answer questions journalists ask at Press Conferences and judged very harshly if his head nods or he just storms off.

    Then there's the matter of what he permits his MPs to do; describing others as having 'sex appeal' or in the absence of that assessment of lacking it, feigning brownies, the use of MPs travel allowances, spewing insults across the Chamber and defending his decision to have Mal Brough in his team will prove major challenges for someone who made an artform of trashing the reputations of others.

    Of course, Malcolm Turnbull is waiting in the wings.
