If I recollect correctly, the United States used agent orange in Vietnam where over half a million people died as a result with even greater numbers still suffering the effects today.
The USA killed more people using two atomic bombs (only country that has used nuclear warfare), and chemical weapons than all countries in our planet combined. How does the international community feel about that?
If the U.N. inspectors conclude that the insurgents are responsible for the chemical attacks, will the U.S. bomb the insurgents? I think not.
If the U.N. inspectors determine that the insurgents obtained the chemical weapons from the Saudis, will the U.S. bomb the Saudis? I think not.
If the inspectors determine that the Saudis got the chemical weapons from the U.S., will the U.S. bomb the itself?
If you really want peace, stop the flow of arms, not just the use of them.
