Mr Mc
The reference you quoted - http://www.brrmedia.co.uk/event/112414/roy-lipski-ceo
item no. 13
sets out total costs (including amortisation of the plant) of $68-$70 per barrel with sale price per barrel of around $130 (premium of $30 pb over crude).
So that equates to a profit of $60 pb. Also in the example given the cost of gas pb is approx. $25.
Lnc would have a lower cost of gas than that based on their statements that they could produce a barrel of diesel at an OPEX of $30. So the profit could be higher than $60 pb especially with current crude prices.
