Had our first bowl of strawberries and now more on the way.

All salads are almost ready for picking. Had some hot days and last night our first light rain (hope more is on way, empty dams around).

Yesterday mumma duck came to visit with babies in tow and walked around the yard. They obviously feel safe with us.

Hearing kookaburras and saw roos around (haven't seen roos in a while).

Thinking of growing just 3 kinds of salads or veges in large quantities rather than a whole heap. Love growing cucumber and capsicum. Tomatoes are a must for us. I tried cutting back a lettuce but left root ball in pot and it regrew.
