Well what puzzles me is why some posters on this forum accept statements from Tony Abbott about the economy being in crisis, climate change being crap, Whyalla disappearing from the map, interest rates always being lower under the Coalition etc.

I'll fully address your request the very moment Tony Abbott either publishes his much promised but still missing promises well before the election [a promise he has already broken].
But if Abbott does not do so prior to the media blackout next week I will just have to continue with the $84b figure that I've calculated, referenced to earlier statements from Joe Hockey and Andrew Robb.
