You may be right as I took no notice of the actual AGM polling last year. I assumed you were talking about the voting down of the fantasy land share scheme proposal, but of course that was withdrawn moments before the actual meeting.

I take these invites (selective or otherwise) as a sign that they severely underestimated the level of shareholder backlash that can be generated through shareholders talking to eachother, and they are keen to build some bridges this year.
