Is Cathy McGowan really independant?
I don't think I have seen an independant member of parliament.
In my mind to be independant the member would consider each issue on it's merits and vote accordingly not vote for one party exclusively, the best ideas are not always just on one side of politics.
Windsor and Oakshott and Wilkie were therefore not independant as they only ever voted with Labor.
Peter Andren also only ever voted with Labor.
They are all acting under false pretences.
