The man is progressive not a conservative..It seems some people here don't see what a potential gift Rudd could be to liberal supporters.
The sad thing is this..despite the hysterical accusations of labor supporters being commies/comrades, union thugs etc.. liberals don't realised their hatred of unions and the endeavor to limit their power/influence in politics has the support of KRudd.
what he has manage to change in the labor party, may to some, was done to prevent him from being ousted again, but just remember this..when his gone as leader the policy he helped drive through (more democratic) will still be there..
a couple of liberal colleagues made a comment to me last week during a discussion which i found very interesting..he noted that he was baffled as to why alot of his mates..all really smart/intelligent guys as well as teachers and academics scientist etc. are labor supporters. i wanted to point out that maybe thats because they are smart and intelligent people..but instead i went with - that is very interesting isn't it.. i would guess that these people are generally not conservatives in thought but progressive..
I would dare to say that the people who have contributed the most to the advancement of humanity are the progressive types..
