In the case that the Company finds itself lined up to hold the reins of power come Saturday night I have concerns for their supporters. For the first time we will have a PM who's vocabulary is confined to words of no more than two syllables. What could be more embarrassing!
In fact I am being somewhat kind here, or should I say under concerned. Why? Because sometimes words of just one syllable are beyond his capabilities. These are numerous. So, for example, we have embarrassing statements where the little monk says "think" instead of "thing." Of course the big errors, the suppository one for example, stick out like the proverbial but if gets the job then one syllable mispronunciations (word substitutions or whatever you want to call them) will come to the notice of all as time goes by. All very unsettling.
Of course this, the nightmare, may not eventuate with Labor retaining power. We can only hope.
cheers
