You know as well as I do that welfare exploiters are not the only ones that commit crimes.

Taking away their only (main) source of income will only force more of them to support themselves by crime.

Most welfare exploiters are probably too lazy to get off the couch and mug or rob someone, if you take away the dole they'll have to go out and do something to feed themselves. Chances are it won't be an honest days work.
