    Peri,
It always makes me wonder where we are going as a civilisation when the same technology we employ to expand our knowledge as humans at the same time steps mankind backwards at an extraordinary rate in the art of communication because we remove the most important part, “the human moment”.
Communication is made up from not only what is said (or what we write) but how it’s said (tone of voice) and visual cues (facial expression) The last two of which are “the human moment”. Without the human moment we are left to try to translate the written word and any human being left to it’s own devices will merely fit the words into the easiest box we can relate to and ultimately misunderstand the most important part, the context of what is said.
If you have had a bad day you will make the assumption of anger, if your experiences in life make you paranoid then you will look into a sentence for the hidden meaning, if you are a kick back kind of guy you may even miss the point, and so on and so on. It is very easy to mix sarcasm up with an insult.
You only have to look at all the people on this site that have pulled every word of every article apart that has ever been written on UNS looking for the truth and see how they post as opposed to how they translate.
The true believers on this site are the people that have either personally talked to the UNS team and experienced that human moment or have spoken in person to someone that has personally talked to the UNS team (Alan Shortall) and picked up the visual cues from them.
The ones that are on the fence will require quantifiable proof such as a signed agreement. Mind you they will still pull it apart word for word and discuss it at length on this forum, however once UNS does make it as a company a lot of posters will just drift away to another company thread and start the games again.
In a nut shell if you can’t write like Ernest Hemmingway then think it through before you hit send!
Have a good day and good luck to all in the coming weeks.
