Weekend suggestion to remove the "hearts" from the leader board/hall of fame.
At this point I am inclined to leave the hearts on the leaderboard and hall of fame for a couple of reasons...
1. I am constantly attempting to attract the most talented posters on HC to the short term thread to share their tips and stock comments... In general a lot (but not all) of the talented traders on HC have hearts ...
2. It is "very difficult" to earn a heart from your hot copper peers imho. Generally there is a very good reason why they have hearts (talking of others not me here)... I think it is only fair to recognise their achievement.
3. It took a not insignificant bit of programming to get them in and displayed so not really wanting to reverse it out.
4. Its easy to compare yourself to the hearted posters on the hall of fame... And there are several posters (not hearted) that currently have higher effectiveness ratings that some of the hearts ... and perhaps these folks should have hearts too!
Anyway there it is... I want the best of the best posting to the HC STT thread... I think publishing the fact that they have been awarded hearts adds to other hearted posters desire to compete in the comp and post here... and ultimately we all benefit from that.
