re: the crash is coming if we wait long enough I'll bet most people still think that American wealth is still in the country, not knowing that a lot of it is held overseas in various forms. This floating wealth is what keeps the world going. Whether much is held in gold, I wouldn't know. The US deficit belongs to the worlds trading nations so it is a problem for many countries.
