I should have added that the seat of Indi has been absolutely saturated by Liberal Party advertising, numerous direct mailouts and wall to wall campaign posters.
Party heavyweights including Joe Hockey, Malcolm Turnbull, Greg Hunt and even Barnaby Joyce have campaigned in Indi.
Tony Abbott has also featured prominently on all that party material - personalised to Sophie Mirabella.
This appears to be exacerbating the concerns people already had about Mirabella and may well be counter-productive.
If Mirabella is given the boot Abbott is going to have one hell of a lot of explaining to do!
As for the 20 signs promoting Cathy McGowan that were vandalised during the weekend; that's another story still to be written!
