Hotfire I agree with you mate. Any reliable sensible business person would have put some form of a retaliatory in the letter. Perhaps something along the lines of eg: "The following comments issued by Forbes are with out merit and we are now seeking a recourse of litigation, as this article has brought our company and its shareholders in disrepute" etc etc... - A few on here are saying Alan has no time for lawyers at this point due to contacts etc, but what about the flip side - What about the buyers /business partners in these deals contracts? What would they all be thinking over this Forbes attack (true or not)? It would be in Alan's best interest to pursue legalities if only just to cover his ass if any contract clauses can be retained by the buyers business/ partners and they then decide to pull the plug since he really has not refuted the statement posted by Forbes. That is clever smart Business... Lets see what rolls on for the rest of the week - Maybe he is just doing that as we speak :)
