Funny how a thread turns.
Should the head of the RBA be an economist or a lawyer? One would expect an economist but we allow lawyers and unionists with the occasional medical degree holder to run our country.
What do lawyers actually do for our GDP? What do engineers do for us?
I remember in the 60's the going career was engineering with man on the moon etc.
Perhaps China is 40 years behind us.....or 40 years in front.
