You have to have a trading system - that is a given but be prepared to evolve the system when the market changes. Sticking doggedly to a system that used to work when the market has changed is a recipe for disaster and will demoralise you.
If you become arrogant and invincible because "your system has worked well in the past" at some stage the market will chew you up and spit you out without a second thought.
