    So this is Hockey's excuse for the need to lift the debt ceiling?

    "...Mr Hockey says because the budget under Labor deteriorated by $33 billion in 11 weeks..."

    "Liar, liar pants on fire."

    Treasury wrote down revenue by $12b over those 11 weeks, yet Hockey originally claiming $30b, now he has upped his fantasy number to $33b.

    Is Hockey lying or incompetent?

    It has to be one or the other.
