engineers versus lawyers, page-10

kp, in a perfect fine tuned economy it would be naturally understandable to have:

a PM who has been a CEO of say BHP

a Treasurer that has a Phd in economics

a Finance Minister who is a CPA

a minister of Education who has dual degrees in business admin and education

    I could go on.

Are the people who were/are in these ministries, on average, incompetent?

A pop singer/star as an Education minister for heavens sake?

Pay $5 million each for the top 10 jobs and have people from the private sector fill them, not public servants.

I rest my case. This gives me a headache.
