OK - how about a group hug session -
one very Monday morning - and another last thing Friday night?

I, for one, am absolutely delighted to see Aussies SO fired up - their patriotism coming out in such fiery manner.

For Aussies have had a gutful.

Aussies so NICE - so TOLERANT - that they:-

Go to a top restaurant, sit and eat half cold soup, leave after paying a gi-normous bill (teak tough and wine too vonegary too) and say - absolutely nothing!

    OR

Callers to talk back radio hosts with big (often undeserved) reputations - callers SO subservient, and overawed - saying - "Thank you for taking my call!".

My thoughts on this incumbent Federal government well known on here - and today not the time to re-iterate them -

but, yes, Aussie slow to anger - or complain - this, to me, is an absolutely GREAT and STUNNING thing - that previously silent, long suffering people are now coming out of the woodwork in droves, and passionately stating their opinions, and loudly!

It's our COUNTRY we're voting for. And who we think are the best people to be in charge of running it - at this moment in time.

It is a wonderful thing for democracy - that we've woken from our tolerant, "let's not make any fuss", stupor - and are making ourselves heard!

Who IS it who promoted this divisiveness?

But, (courtesy the late great Aussie actor, Peter Finch):-

I think it all boils down to:-

"We're as mad as hell, and we're not going to take it anymore."

So, one changes the chef. And hopes like hell the meals from now on will be better - and healthier!

The proof will be in the pudding!

And Australian democracy is awake, alive, and firing on all fours. Palmer is right, in one thing. Here we are seeing the Anzac spirit, at last. Have had enough of mediocrity, served up as gourmet.

I for one, am pleased to see this fire in the belly, in Aussies, re-awakened.

Today, as I see it - people will vote for Australia - and not for themselves. That, to me, is a huge positive!

Fate has us all in its hands. SO what will be, will be.

    Regardless, good weekend to all.
