Last time I looked the UK had an extreme right wing Tory Govt that was overseeing a continuing recession because of its imbecilic and ideologically motivated slash and burn approach - no cuts for the monarchy though!
Germany may be boasting about it's self-serving achievements but as the master driver of the Euro Zone IT has crippled many of the other countries therein - effectively bleeding them dry!
You appear unaware that Spain has a monarch, that France was ruled by Presidents Chirac and Sarkozy prior to the GFC and that Italy had Berlusconi! Not many 'socialists' there!
As for returning Australia to surplus; Tony Abbott has committed himself to so many new bills that even he has given up that pretence. Of course we all know, nod-nod wink-wink, that will be one for the hidden agenda he has via the 'commission of audit' strategy he has flagged.
Abbott has been the master of damaging negativity throughout the most difficult economic period in 80 years.
Labor were given no latitude and excuses were not accepted. Let's see how he goes once the spotlight is on his performance and the boot is on the other foot.
