jesus could not have existed, page-378

it's slightly amusing reading that bowral, because i used to believe (which really means not really knowing) what you are saying
but there comes a point where the money talks and the BS walks

"one says you can develop the spirit within
the other says you need the spirit of god"

god, or prana, is omnipresent - at some point there comes a realization that it's no longer i that liveth but christ (more specifically, the christ 'within' jesus) that liveth in me.

we live not by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of god - the ruarch or spirit

sin, and misery is, to a significant degree, a natural consequence of not acknowledging or respecting this.
you may be familiar with the phrase "missing the mark"

nothing 'new age' about this - it's as old as the hills.

but it may not be a problem, because even as a christian one can find substantial release, as exemplified in the case of francis of assisi, who's attitude and actions far outweighed and transcended any stifling dogma that could have bogged him down.

the most important prayer that i ever prayed as a xtian was "god, no matter what i believe, can you please show me your truth"
