same sex marriage

Let me start this post by saying I'm trying to understanding this current debate.

Let me preempt what I have to say by posting this video I came across on the net.



I was raised by a mother and a father and I raised my children in the same fashion.

Is the debate now moving to say that children will no longer have a mother and father but rather just two parents whether 2 females or 2 males?

This is just a plea to understand the debate and where things are heading.

I find it hard to come to grips with.
