Can you explain a little bit about the " credit enquiry on your CRAA " ?
I did have an experience where a valuation came back low . As we were already quite a long way through the process ( long story ) it meant I had to provide more equity to get the deal done. It wasn't really a big drama for me but I did learn a valuable lesson .
One thing I did do is get an estimate of the cost of discharging the loan . People forget that mortgage discharge fees and the new lender's fee can add up to quite a bit . You need to make sure it's worth doing .
So , if you use a broker you can get valuations pre loan ?
