footy, you my or may not know that Tony Abbott's sister is a lesbian. She has been campaigning for a Liberal by the name of Sean O'Connor, who is also an out gay. Tony's sister is also a polly (Liberal). Here's an article where she reckons gay marriage is inevitable:

Many politicians, both conservative and less conservative, have worked through issues around gay marriage, and seem to have made a personal journey towards that end. Perhaps Tony Abbott will change his stance, given he is in a minority with his family on the issue. Many of the younger generation seem to have a very different perspective than many of the older generation.
