Sadly the Greens will no doubt pass Abbott's PPL Scheme with some minor amendments, such as limiting it to $100,000 per year cap which is still extremely generous.

Agree with all your points regarding the economy and some leading economists have already highlighted the fact that Abbott will have to make deeper cuts to pay for all his 'promises' if he is too deliver them in full.

Interesting to note Abbott eagerly opted to keep Labors recent tax hikes on cigarettes and the Bank deposit scheme etc.
